    Grandmaster has over 46 years of teaching experience. He has been all over the world giving lectures and seminars. He began teaching in Korea and later brought his knowledge to the United States. Grandmaster Kim has earned 3 P.h.d. in Health and Science, as well as Philosophy. Grandmaster Kim has directed and choreographed numerous martial arts films.

    1963-1964 Busan, Korea
    Was the youngest student to be titled Chief Master at Busan Pal Kwang Ryu Jiu-jitsu and Hap Ki Do. The training hall had 1500 students and had 600 Black Belt students.

    1966 Korea
    Champion of the Grand National Fighting Championship in Korea.

    1967 Young Chun, Korea
    Army Boot Camp Master of Tae Kwon Do & Hap Ki Do. Master instructor at Young Chun Si Military Police Force.

    1968
    2nd Brigade Anti-Terrorist Force and 21st Military Platoon Martial Arts instructor.

    1968 Vietnam
    Grand Champion of Vietnam National Army Combat Martial Arts Demonstration Championship.

    1968-1969 Vietnam
    Captain of the Vietnam C.I.D special forces teaching Tae Kwon Do & Hap Ki Do.
    1970 Korea
    Earned 7th degree Black Belt at Chung Do Kwan.

    1971-1974 Mil Yang, Kyang Nam, Korea
    Trained in Chun Hwang Mountains, Jae Yak San, in isolation for three years. Fasting, eating only raw vegetables. Trained with Ancient Korean and Chinese Martial Arts books achieving a high level in Ho Shin Moo Do philosophy and forms. Also created Sam Sang Bup, the natural way of invigorating vital energy for life force.
     
    October 1974, Seoul, Korea
    World Hap Ki Do Federation certified International Referee.

    May 1975, Seoul, Korea
    World Tae Kwon Do Federation certified International Referee.

    1975-1976 Choong muro, Seoul, Korea
    Martial Arts Movie director and action choreographer in 6 major movies, produced by Moo Sung Pictures (Korean Major Movie Production Company).

    1976-1978 Kwan ack sa, Seoul, Korea

    Opened Ho Shin Moo Do Kwan at Sam Back Sa Temple and taught monks Ho Shin Moo Do, self-defense technique & staff techniques. Also studied for the development of Ho Shin Moo Do with 5 other Masters.

     

    1979-1980 USA
    Arrived in United States and was Chief Master of U.S. Tae Kwon Do & Hap Ki Do Federation teaching Tae Kwon Do & Hap Ki Do.

    1980-1987 San Diego, CA, USA
    Opened Oriental Martial Arts College under World Ho Shin Moo Do Association and certified many disciplines including U.S. Marines and Vice-Mayor Bill Mitchell with one school for seven years.

    1983 San Diego, CA, USA
    Opened a Championship at San Diego Convention Center. 25 of the World famous Masters attended and performed demonstrations. The Mayor of San Diego and several of the U.S. Marines also participated the open championships.

    1999-present Los Angeles, CA, USA
